Login Required Mode & Overlay Configuration

1. Enabling Login Required Mode #

Option: login_required (0/1)

Step-by-step:

1. Go to Davix AI Engine → Chatbot → Login Required tab.
2. Find the Login Required toggle.
3. Turn it ON.
4. Save changes.

When this is enabled:

• Guests cannot see or use the chatbot directly.
• Instead, they see overlays or messages prompting them to log in or sign up.

2. Configuring Login and Signup URLs #

Options: login_url, signup_url

These define where users are sent when they click the login/signup buttons.

Step-by-step:

1. In the same Login Required tab, locate:
   • Login URL field (login_url).
   • Signup URL field (signup_url).
2. Enter the URLs of your custom login and registration pages.
3. Save changes.

3. Popup Overlay Text (Bubble/Popup View) #

Options: login_popup_title, login_popup_text, login_btn_text, signup_btn_text

These control the small overlay that appears when a guest opens the chat popup.

Step-by-step:

1. Find Popup Title (login_popup_title) and Popup Text (login_popup_text).
2. Enter a concise title and message explaining that chat requires login.
3. Set Login Button Text (login_btn_text) and Signup Button Text (signup_btn_text).
4. Save changes.

When guests click the bubble, they will see this small overlay instead of the chat interface.

4. Full-Page Login Text (Full-Page Chat View) #

Options: login_full_title, login_full_text

These apply to the full-page chat when login is required.

Step-by-step:

1. In the same tab, locate Full-Page Login Title (login_full_title) and Full-Page Login Text (login_full_text).
2. Enter a heading and more detailed explanation for visitors landing on the full-page chat URL.
3. Save changes.

When a guest visits the full-page chat page:

• They will see the full-page login message and the same login/signup buttons instead of the chat.

5. Color and Style Controls for Login Gate #

The docs mention multiple color/size controls for:

• Overlay background
• Window
• Border
• Titles/text
• Buttons (colors, sizes, padding)

These are stored as part of Chatbot options and allow you to match the login gate to your site design.

Step-by-step (general):

1. Under Login Required or related styling tab, locate color pickers and size fields.
2. Adjust:
   • Overlay background color (for dimming the page).
   • Window background/border.
   • Title/body text colors.
   • Button background, text, and padding.
3. Save and test on front-end.
