Your Auto-Reply module:
- Listens to new WordPress comments and WooCommerce reviews.
- Generates short, friendly replies in your brand voice.
- Might send Telegram notifications too.
- Needs:
- Good tone control.
- Low cost per comment (could be many).
- Reliability and safety.
2. Recommended Models #
Here we prioritize cheap and fast, but still want decent style.
Best default for Auto-Reply:
gpt-4.1-nano- Very cheap and fast; good enough for:
- Simple “thank you” replies.
- Short helpful responses. OpenAI+2OpenAI Platform+2

Legacy / fallback:
gpt-4o-miniorgpt-4o(if your account doesn’t expose 4.1 yet). OpenAI Platform+2Zapier+2gpt-3.5-turboas a last fallback. OpenAI Platform+1
3. Models Not Recommended for Auto-Reply #
- Reasoning models (o1/o3/o4-mini):
- Much more expensive and slower; totally unnecessary for short, simple replies. Roboflow Blog+3OpenAI Platform+3OpenAI+3
- Any deprecated older models:
- They may break unexpectedly when retired.
