2. Enable the Forms Module #
Your readme Quick Start says:
- Go to Davix AI Engine → Forms → Settings.
- Enable the Forms module.
- Select supported providers (for example, SureForms).
- Submit a test form and confirm it appears under Forms → Entries.
Step-by-step:
- On the Settings tab, find the toggle Enable Forms module (backed by an option like
forms_module_enabled). - Set it to ON.
- Click Save Changes.
The module is now active and ready to listen to supported form submissions.
3. Selecting Providers (e.g. SureForms) #
Docs mention:
- The module can capture entries from supported providers, with SureForms explicitly used as example.
Step-by-step:
- Still on the Settings tab, locate Providers or Enabled plugins section (internally something like
forms_enabled_plugins). - Tick the checkbox for each provider you use:
- For example SureForms.
- Save changes.
From now on:
- When a user submits a form from those providers, Davix AI Engine will capture the submission and store it as an Entry.
4. Retention Settings (If Available) #
Your docs describe a retention-like option for entries (e.g. forms_entries_retention_days).
Step-by-step:
- In the Settings tab, find Entries retention (days) or similar field.
- Set a number of days for how long entries should be kept:
0usually means “keep indefinitely” (according to defaults described).
- Save changes.
Retention will affect how long entries remain in the Entries list before they can be considered for cleanup (depending on implementation described in docs).
5. Submit a Test Form #
To confirm everything is wired correctly:
- Go to a page that contains a supported form (e.g., SureForms form).
- Fill in the form and submit it.
- Go back to Davix AI Engine → Forms → Entries.
- Confirm the test submission appears there.
