1. What Predefined Replies Are #
The readme lists for Free Forms module:
- “Predefined replies and optional AI notice text.”
- “Manual AI assistance using the shared OpenAI key.”
Predefined replies are canned answers you can re-use when responding to form entries, without writing a new message each time.
2. Where to Define Predefined Replies #
In the Forms section of your docs, predefined replies are configured inside Forms settings (the exact field name matches your internal options).
Step-by-step:
- Go to Davix AI Engine → Forms → Settings or Email (depending on where docs place them).
- Look for a section labeled Predefined Replies, Canned Responses, or similar:
- This section lets you create one or more template messages.
- Enter your commonly used replies:
- Examples: “Thank you for contacting us, we’ll get back to you soon.” (The content itself is up to the site owner, not in docs.)
- Save changes.

3. Optional AI Notice Text #
Docs say you can set AI notice text:
- This is a short message such as “Reply generated with AI” that you can attach to AI-based responses to be transparent with users.
Step-by-step:
- In the same Forms settings region, find AI Notice Text or similar option.
- Enter the notice you want to display or attach to emails.
- Save changes.
4. Using Manual AI Assistance #
The docs explain that even in Free, you can use manual AI help on form entries using the main OpenAI key:
Step-by-step (typical workflow from docs):
- Go to Davix AI Engine → Forms → Entries.
- Click View on a specific entry.
- In the entry view, there will be controls for AI assistance:
- A button or field that sends the entry data and your notes to OpenAI using your main OpenAI API key.
- The AI returns a suggested reply.
- You can:
- Copy this suggestion.
- Edit it as needed.
- Send it manually via your normal email system (in Free) or via the Email tab (if Pro and auto-email features are enabled).
Manual AI assistance does not send replies automatically in Free; it just helps you craft answers.
